Where is the conference being held?

  • The Moscone Center in San Francisco, California.

What halls are being used for the exhibit program?

  • Exhibits are located in the South Building – Halls A-B-C.

I want to have a meeting during the conference what do I need to do?

  • We offer several options for companies wishing to host a meeting during the ATS International Conference - hotel meeting space or meeting space at the convention center.
    • Hotel Meeting Application will be available online, January 2016.
  • Meeting space at the Moscone Center – we offer Meeting Suites and Meet Up Rooms outside the exhibit hall providing a turnkey solution for your meeting needs. We offer Expo Suites inside the exhibit hall which can be customized to suit your meeting needs. Expo Suites are only available to exhibiting companies. For information on meeting space at the Moscone Center please contact Stacy McManus, CEM, Director of Corporate Alliances & Exhibition Operations at smcmanus@thoracic.org.

Where is exhibitor registration located?

  • Exhibitor registration is in the Upper Lobby of the North Building. Online registration will be available December 2015.

How many exhibitor badges do I get?

  • Each exhibiting company gets four (4) exhibitor registrations per 100sqft. Additional badges can be purchased for $50 each.

Does my exhibitor badge get me into educational sessions?

  • The exhibitor badge allows access into any educational session that does not require an additional fee (ticketed sessions). These include PG Course, Workshops, Meet the Professor and Luncheons. You may purchase a PG Course without registering for the full conference however for all other ticketed sessions you must register for the full conference.
  • The exhibitor badge does not provide CME or MOC credits.

How do I order carpet, tables, chairs, electrical, internet, etc?

  • Please visit the Freeman website to access the Exhibitor Services Manual (available February 2016)

When will Freeman begin accepting freight at the Advance Warehouse?

  • Due to construction at the Moscone Center, Freeman is encouraging all exhibitors to send their freight to the advance warehouse. This will help alleviate congestion at the loading docks and expedite the move-in process.
  • Freeman will begin accepting freight on Tuesday, April 12, 2016 @ 8:00 AM.
  • Warehouse Hours are Mon – Friday from 8:00 AM – 3:30 PM.

When can I ship direct to showsite?

  • Due to construction at the Moscone Center, Freeman is encouraging all exhibitors to send their freight to the advance warehouse. This will help alleviate congestion at the loading docks and expedite the move-in process.
  • Freight may begin to arrive at the Moscone Center starting on Thursday, May 12, 2016. Freight arriving earlier than May 12th will most likely be refused by the facility.

What color is the aisle carpet?

  • Blue

What is the height limitation for an island booth?

  • Island booths have a height limit of 20’
  • The ceiling height in South halls A, B and C range from 16’-1” in the front and rear of the exhibit hall to 37’ in the middle. The Moscone has a gabled ceiling with arches that affect the ceiling height.

What are the hanging sign rules?

  • You must be a 20’x20’ booth or larger to have a hanging sign
  • The top of the banner cannot be any higher than 22 ‘ off the floor
  • The maximum allowable length for all hanging signs is 8’
  • All hanging sign must be at least 8’ off the floor

What are the sight line rules for island booths?

  • All island booths must have a 30% see through from front to back and side to side. This means you must be able to see through 30% of the booth all the way around.

Is booth carpet provided and do I have to carpet my booth?

  • Booth carpet is not provided and all exhibitors must have a floor covering for the entire size of their contracted booth space

Do I have to order electrical and if so how do I do it?

  • Exhibitors requiring electrical must order it through Freeman. Please visit the Freeman website to access the Exhibitor Services Manual (available February 2016).

How do I order the pre-conference attendee list?

  • The order form can be found in the Exhibitor Service Manual available on the Freeman website, under Additional Vendors (available February 2016)
  • All marketing materials and/or emails must be pre-approved by the ATS prior to receipt of the list.

Are e-mails included in the pre or post conference attendee lists?

  • Attendee email addresses are not shared with exhibitors, however, an email message can be sent on your behalf by our official registration vendor Convention Data Services. The pre-registration list can be sorted by specific demographics such as Topic of Interest, Work setting, Country, etc. so you can target the exact audience you want.
