Earn MOC Points, CME Credits at ATS 2023

The ATS Education and the International Conference Committees have collaborated on a plan where nine Scientific Symposia, four Clinical Year in Review, the Pediatric Year in Review session, one Postgraduate course, and the Adult and Pediatric Core Curriculum symposia are eligible for ABIM or ABP MOC points.  The symposia will cover adult pulmonary, critical care, and sleep medicine as well as pediatric pulmonary and sleep medicine.

How to Earn MOC at ATS 2023

To claim MOC you must complete the requirements for CME as all MOC sessions are also CME certified and do the following:

Before ATS 2023: Take the pre-test for each MOC eligible symposium you want to attend. The pretest is available noon ET Monday, May 15th - midnight ET, Thursday, May 18th.

To access the MOC pre-test, complete these steps:

1. Login to the registration site with the email used to register for ATS and your registration number here: https://www.xpressreg.net/register/thor0523/evaluations.asp
2. Read the instructions on the instruction page
3. Click Continue to proceed to the Event Home page
4. On the Event Home page, click on the blue button that is labeled MOC Pre-tests
5. Complete the pre-test for those sessions that you plan to attend
6. When you’re done, click Return to Event Home to return to the Event Home page
7. Logout

During ATS 2023: Attend any or all CME + MOC eligible symposia you are interested in. Advance registration is only required for the Postgraduate course. After ATS 2023:

1. Login to the registration site with the email used to register for ATS and your registration/badge number here: https://www.xpressreg.net/register/thor0523/evaluations.asp
2. Submit a short evaluation for each session(s) for which you desire credit.
   Attendance alone is not sufficient. Make sure you evaluate CME designated ALL sessions for which you’d like to earn credit BEFORE proceeding to the next step.
3. Complete a short ATS Conference-wide evaluation.
4. Pass the Posttest for the MOC designated sessions.
   Posttests for all MOC-eligible symposia will be available at on May 24, 2023, 5 pm ET and attendees can take the tests at no additional cost through Wednesday, July 5th 11:59 PM ET.
5. Attest to the credits earned through the activity and print your certificate.
   Don’t forget to download or email yourself a PDF of your certificates for your records!

Note: Submitting answers through the ARS (Audience Response System) during a session does not count as completing the pre- or posttest. Also, completing the steps to claim just the CME credits will not automatically grant you MOC points. You must complete the CME session evaluation AND pass the MOC posttest to earn MOC.
