The way we learn medicine is evolving. Medical libraries now fit in your pocket as “smart” phones. We have more medical journals today then we have ever had. This explosion of medical information now comes electronically in the form of tweets, vlogs, podcasts, and e-mail. In this symposium we explore the evolution of medical learning and the impact of online mediums on how we learn and share medical information. Our topics will center on how clinicians can engage with and appropriately analyze medical information in the digital age. We will review how to navigate social media, how to assess the quality of online data, and how to leverage online learning for education. Chairing: J.M. Beck, MD, ATSF, Aurora, CO W.G.
