Multiple studies have been recently reported on the utility of endobronchial valve treatment in patients with heterogeneous and homogeneous disease to improve outcomes in patients with advanced emphysema and severe hyperinflation. This session will focus on these recent studies and provide the audience with information regarding patient selection, placement of endobronchial valve therapy, expected short and long-term outcomes as well as management of adverse events. Leading international investigators and practitioners with extensive experience in endobronchial valve placement will present at the session. Chairing: G.J. Criner, MD, ATSF, Philadelphia, PA D.
