Click here for the Non-CME Symposia Application

The ATS encourages Non-CME Symposia in conjunction with the ATS 2019 International Conference. These programs complement the content offered by the ATS and provide an opportunity for attendees to further enrich their learning experiences during the premier educational event for Pulmonary, Critical Care and Sleep Medicine professionals. While the content of these programs is the sole responsibility of the supporting company or companies, the ATS encourages programs that are scientific in nature.

Sponsorship Details

  • Non-CME Symposia rooms are available on a first-come, first-served basis.
  • Sponsor is permitted to set audience restrictions such as U.S. only or International only audience, or by invitation-only.
  • Programs offering CME/CE/MOC credit are not permitted. The use of space within the hotel affiliated with the Industry Program should support conference activities, and cannot be used to develop CME/CE Material or any form of Professional Credit.
    • Programs from MECCs are welcomed, but require a letter of approval from the ATS that should be included with all grant submissions. Applications not following this process are declined. Click Here for more information and instructions.
  • Food and beverage needs are coordinated directly with the hotel, and are not included in the price of the program. A detailed confirmation packet including hotel contact, A/V order forms, etc. is sent to all confirmed Non-CME Symposia supporters.
  • A standard A/V package is included and furnished by the ATS. A decision to not use the A/V package does not change the fee for holding a Non-CME Symposia. The A/V package for each room is customized for the room to ensure good visibility and sound quality. Please see the A/V package plans for each room for an equipment list.
    • A general room operator for audio visual is provided to help load presentations or adjust the volume level. Should you require more technical assistance such as an audio engineer, video engineer, or camera operator please contact the dedicated PSAV representative included with program confirmation details.
  • An audio/recording capture content A/V package is available from PSAV so you extend the life of your program.
  • Extend the life of your program: The ATS offers sponsors of Non-CME Symposia and Industry Theater Symposia the opportunity to archive their video/audio taped presentation for 6 months on the ATS Store under the Best of the ATS Conference page. Contact Stacy McManus at smcmanus@thoracic.org for more details.
