The Clinicians Center is an area designed to enhance the International Conference experience for pulmonary, critical care and sleep practitioners. Meet, network, relax, refresh and learn in a comfortable and congenial environment while gathering information and resources suited for clinicians and interprofessionals. Resources include Clinical Year in Review, Nursing Year in Review and Pediatric Year in Review.

This session will feature a number of different ways to approach lung nodule management whereby the audience will particpate by evaluating and selecting innovative and pragmatic approaches towards lung nodule detection.

Coding and Billing: Clinical Examples

This case-based didatic session will feature various clincial examples to optimize coding and billing practices. Updates regarding reimbursement considerations will also be described.

This session will utilize role play to dive into challenges and potential solutions to foter intraprofessional, team based ICU rounding. Session will also highlight various rounding pracitices and address academic and professional needs.

This session will feature an interactive case based dialogue regarding how to approach pulmonary arterial hypertension as well as incorporate right heart catheterization or other cardiac studies into diagnostic and treatment decisions.

ATS Health Policy Committee

This session will foster an understanding of important aspects of health policy relevant to clincians and ATS members. Specific ATS initiatives relevant to clincians in practice will be discussed.
12:50 - 2 p.m. Advanced Disease State- Financial Principals

This session will discuss more complex financial challenges regarding higher risk or higher complecity clicnial condistions such as how to re-equip practices to facilitate initiatives related to the care of patients with advanced COPD, interstitial lund diseases, specialized diagnostic and treatment services.

This interactive session will provide an interactive case-based discussion related to volume resuscitation assessments including the application of invasive and noninvasive methods. Updated sepsis guidelines will be applied.

This interactive session will review updates in oxygen therapies with demonstration of equipment, and case-based application of portable oxygen systems as well as monitoring (home pulse-oximetry).
