SPECIAL EVENTS AND RESOURCES AT THE INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE
The American Thoracic Society is dedicated to improving the International Conference experience for pulmonary, critical care and sleep medicine professionals. To assist you with planning for the Conference, we have highlighted some important events, programs and resources which we feel will enhance your overall experience at ATS 2012 • San Francisco.
This annual networking event for fellows, junior professionals, and program directors is a networking event and will provide a brief orientation about the International Conference.
The Clinicians Center is a doctors' lounge designed for the practicing clinician and will feature three hands on workshop demos each day. There will be a social hour from 12:00 pm - 1:00 pm serving cocktails and hors d'oeuvres.
The Center for Fellows and Junior Professionals (CFJP) is a networking and career development forum for physicians and other healthcare professionals in pulmonary, critical care and sleep medicine who are in training, in transition or post fellowship. A complimentary breakfast will be served starting at 7:00 am as well as a social hour from 3:30 pm - 4:30 pm with cocktails and hors d'oeuvres.
DIVERSITY FORUM This annual forum focuses on the career development of minorities, disparities in healthcare and the presentation of the 2012 Minority Trainee Travel Awards. |

WOMEN'S FORUM This annual forum highlights the advancement of women in pulmonary, critical care and sleep medicine and features the recognition of the 2012 Elizabeth A. Rich MD awardee. |

HIGHLIGHTS FOR CLINICIANS The Highlights for Clinicians is a guide that identifies sessions and events that are relevant to practicing clinicians. Copies will be available at the ATS Center and Clinicians Center as well as in the registration bag. |
HIGHLIGHTS FOR TRAINING PROGRAM DIRECTORS The Highlights for Training Directors is a resource for pulmonary, critical care and sleep fellowship program directors and identifies key sessions for this group to attend while at the ATS International Conference. |
ROAD MAP FOR FELLOWS AND JUNIOR PROFESSIONALS The Road Map for Fellows and Junior Professionals identifies activities, sessions, meetings and seminars that may be of interest for fellows, junior professionals and first time attendees. Copies of the Road Map will be available at the ATS Center and Center for Fellows and Junior Professionals as well as online via the ATS website. |
INTERDISCIPLINARY TEAM (IDT) CONFERENCE GUIDE The IDT Conference Guide was developed as a way to make navigating the conference easier for nurses, respiratory therapists, physical therapists, physician assistants and other allied health professionals. |
