SAN FRANCISCO BAY AREA SIGHTSEEING

Mana, Allison & Associates will coordinate the tour booth for American Thoracic Society's conference. Staff will be available to book tours for guests from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm at the Moscone Center, Lobby, North Building, Street Level at the tour booth from May 18 - 23, 2012. Tours will be operated with a luxurious fleet of vehicles, professional guides and drivers. Exact dates, times and prices of tours will be posted in the ATS 2012 Final Program.

CITY TOUR & ALCATRAZ
Approximately 7 hours

Join us as we discover the breathtaking city of San Francisco with style and comfort aboard our newest luxury coaches. Allow our knowledgeable tour guides to escort you through a tale of charm and attractions with the history of San Francisco. View such valuable treasures as: Chinatown, Fisherman's Wharf, North Beach, Palace of Fine Arts, Union Square, Coit Tower, Nob Hill, Pacific Ocean, and Presidio National Park. Our experienced tour guides will provide photo opportunities at such highlights as: Civic Center, Golden Gate Park, Golden Gate Bridge, Ghirardelli Square, and Twin Peaks (weather permitting). Following your Grand City Tour, we will escort you to Pier 33 to board the ferry to Alcatraz Island. Once on the island, you will be able to enjoy the audio tour of the cellhouse and walk about the various exhibits. When ready, you may catch a ferry back to Pier 33 and join us on the shuttle at 5:40 pm to return to San Francisco.

MUIR WOODS & SAUSALITO
Approximately 4 hours

Venture north over the Golden Gate Bridge to an isolated canyon filled with ancient coastal redwood trees, also known as Muir Woods National Monument. Enjoy solitude and peace as you stroll through 1000 year old trees towering 260 feet tall. You will spend approximately one (1) hour in the park. On the drive to Sausalito, enjoy such sights as: Marin County and Mount Tamalpais. Sausalito, a Mediterraneanlike village harbored across the San Francisco Bay, is famous for its sweeping views and timeless sophistication. This hidden gem allows you to discover one-of-a-kind boutiques, unique art galleries, and waterfront restaurants. After approximately 45 minutes, you may join the bus back to San Francisco, or for extended time add a ferry ticket to your purchase and return to Pier 41 at Fisherman's Wharf in San Francisco.

WINE COUNTRY

Unwind and soak up the stunning scenery as we journey north into Napa and Sonoma Valley, two of the most prized wine regions of Northern California. During your venture, enjoy wine tasting and estate tours, a scenic drive over the Golden Gate Bridge, and the sights of Sonoma Square. Savor the beauty and taste of picturesque San Francisco all in one night. Start your evening with a three course dining experience at a firstclass restaurant. Piazza Market, located in the heart of North Beach, provides wonderful food, fabulous wine, and an ambiance like no other. Fountains, Italian tile, Trompel'oeil ceiling and village facades evoke the feeling of dining al fresco in an Italian Piazza. YOSEMITE BY DAY
Approximately 13 hours

If nature and wonder are your interests, then you must be sure to see Yosemite National Park, heralded as the "Crown Jewel" of the National Park system. Yosemite offers majestic views of granite cliffs, 1,000 foot wateralls, and deep lakes. On your tour, see such sights as Bridal Veil Falls, Merced River, El Capitan, Valley View, Half Dome, and much more! Once inside the park, you will have 2-3 hours on your own to add the tram tour, go hiking, or take a bike ride through the park.
