Especially for Scientists
Science is central to the ATS International Conference. No other meeting offers the breadth of discoveries in pulmonary, critical care, and sleep medicine. “The ability for basic scientists to interact with clinical scientists,” says one longtime International Conference attendee, “is unlike any other meeting I’ve ever attended.” Below is a select list of sessions of special interest to scientists (return mid-January to review individual session details, including session topics and speakers):
- Epithelial-Mesenchymal Crosstalk: A Matrix for Lung Remodeling
- Bioengineering for Lung Diseases: Progress in Rebuilding the Lung
- The Role of the Airway Smooth Muscle in the Origin & Persistence of Asthma
- Putting the Brakes on TH17-Mediated Inflammation in the Lung
- Engineered Nanoparticles & Airway: Therapeutic Applications*
- Genomic & Epigenetic Approaches to Understanding Lung Diseases
- Physiology Master Class: Hemodynamic Assessment & Management in the ICU*
- Scientific Breakthroughs of the Year: Progress in Lung Tissue Engineering
- Damage-Associated Molecular Patterns in Lung Disease and Critical Illness
- Quantitative Thoracic Imaging: The Past, Present & Future
